Why a Focus Mode?
Reading online is full of distractions. Notifications, menu bars, ads – all of it pulls the reader out of the story. We wanted to create an alternative: a mode that makes reading on screen as pleasant as possible.
How It Works
When a reader activates focus mode, the following happens:
Everything unnecessary disappears. Navigation, sidebar, and footer are hidden. What remains is just the text – centered, in a comfortable font size, with generous line spacing.
Optimized typography. Font size and line spacing are optimized for extended reading. The result feels like a real book.
Chapter navigation stays accessible. A subtle gesture or a click at the edge allows switching to the next or previous chapter.

Focus mode is aimed at readers who truly want to immerse themselves in a story. Whether on the couch with a tablet or on the go with a smartphone – the mode adapts to the device and always provides an optimal reading experience.
Try It Out
Focus mode is part of the web app and is available to all readers for free. Authors can enable it for their published stories.
